Easter is here! My husband had to work last weekend so the girls and I are really excited to have him home this weekend. We kicked off this Easter weekend with some kid friendly crafts. Our favorite craft was making these bunny masks. My girls have been wearing these masks and hopping around the room pretending to be bunnies. Tomorrow we plan on decorating eggs and hiding them.

You will need 8.5×11 white cardstock paper, scissors, hot glue gun, an elastic band and something to color the masks with. For the elastic band, I recommend purchasing elastic bands that are 1/4″ or 1/8″ wide. You can find it in the sewing section at Walmart, online or at any fabric store.
Begin by first downloading the masks onto 8.5×11 heavy white cardstock paper. Decorate the masks using crayons, markers or colored pencils. Cut the outer edge of the bunny and the two eyes out. Then cut the elastic band to fit around the child’s head which is approximately 13-15 inches in length. The final step is to attach the the elastic band to the mask. I recommend using a hot glue gun and glue each tip to the back of the mask. I like to line it up with the center of eye holes on the mask.
