Easy No-Sew Bias Tape Hair Bow Tutorial

You will love making these hair bows!  It takes just a couple of minutes to make and are adorable.  Below are directions on how to make a headband and how to make a bow attached to an alligator clip.  Happy bow making!

What you will need is bias tape, hot glue gun, pantyhose and/or alligator clips.

Headband

Step 1

Cut the bias tape to 12 inches in length.  Take a large pantyhose and cut it into approximately 1 inch strips.

Step 2

Tie a bow around the pantyhose.  Play with the bow for a second until you like the way it looks.


Step 3

Trim excess bias tape off and glue the the tips of the tape.  I also like to glue the knot in the bow to keep if from coming apart.

Hair Bow Attached To An Alligator Clip

Step 1

Cut the bias tape to 12 inches in length.

Step 2

Tie a bow.  You might want to play with the bow for a second until you like the way it looks.  Don’t be afraid to redo the bow completely.

Step 3

Trim excess bias tape off and glue the the tips of the tape.  Glue an alligator clip to the back of the bow.
