Cream Cheese Brownies

I don’t know about you but this year my kids and I are going to be leaving Cream Cheese Brownies for Santa.  They are yummy and easy to make.

Mix brownie batter according to directions on the box.

Combine butter and cream cheese and then gradually add the sugar. Cream until light and fluffy. Blend in the eggs, flour and vanilla. Set aside.


Bake at 350° for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool. They test best cold, so chill in refrigerator for an hour. I like to cut them in squares and freeze them.

Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

  1. 1 box Brownie Mix mix according to directions on box

Cream Cheese Filling

  1. 5 tbsp butter

  2. 8 oz Cream Cheese softened

  3. 1/2 cup sugar

  4. 2 eggs

  5. 2 tbsp flour

  6. 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix brownie batter according to directions on the box.

  2. In a separate bowl, combine the butter and cream cheese and then gradually add the sugar. Cream until light and fluffy. Blend in the eggs, flour and vanilla. Set aside.

  3. Pour ½ of the brownie batter into an 11 x 7 greased pan. Pour all of the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Then add the rest of the brownie batter on top.

  4. Bake at 350° for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool. They test best cold, so chill in refrigerator for an hour. I like to cut them in squares and freeze them.
